The Department of Athletics oversees sport, spirit, and recreation at Oakridge College. Every Oakridge team takes the field as the Mustangs — the college's mascot and its loudest shared identity on game day.
For a college of roughly six hundred students, athletics at Oakridge runs on participation rather than scholarship: intramural play, pick-up leagues, and student squads that rise and rest with the interest of each year's class.

Active programs
Athletics groups are organized through Munibase; the following student athletic organizations are currently active:
- Oakridge Cheer — the cheerleading squad of the Mustangs (Munibase roster)
Additional teams form when enough students commit to a season — a program listed as dormant is one roster away from a comeback. Past programs (basketball, football, swimming) are archived and can be revived by interested players.
Spirit & identity
- Mascot: the Mustang
- Game-day tradition: Mustangs game day, backed by Oakridge Cheer
OOC / Behind-the-scenes notes
OOC Notes: Active athletic groups are listed from Munibase — when a new sports group forms there, add it to the Active programs list. Dormant sport pages are archived in the Defunct book and can be restored if play resumes.
