Oakridge is taking applications

Oakridge College is accepting applications for the fall term.

Potential students can apply at the convenient computer placed in the admissions office.

Where to find it

The administration building. Cross the lobby, past reception, then turn left into Admissions. The computer is on the desk against the wall.

Simply fill out your information at the computer and that's it!

If you are accepted you may print out your letter on the printer beside the application computer.

Out of character. This is the first time our quest system has run in public, so expect a few rough edges. If a step stalls, fires twice, or does not fire at all, file a ticket on the support channel and tell us what you were doing when it happened.

Registering for courses

Once you are admitted you can register for classes straight away. Your major is what you are mapping out your future to look like. Your courses are the individual classes underneath it, and they are where the weekly timetable comes from. Declare the major first, then pick the courses.

The tablet on the Registrar's desk hands your character a link to their student record. If you are already signed in to Munibase, the same record is on your character dashboard: open the portal from the Oakridge College group. You can browse the catalog without signing in, and it fills out as departments file their classes, so a short list means the term is still being written rather than that you missed something.

The term begins Monday, August 31.

Your student ID

Once your major is declared, the card printer at the reception desk prints your student ID with your major on it. If a step is missing, the printer says so.
