1201 - Purpose and Scope

The purpose of this policy is to establish guidelines to ensure this office fulfills its obligation in complying with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act) as well as applicable California Education Code requirements. The Clery Act will be applied to Oakridge College. The Hartwell County Sheriff’s Department also to facilitate this has established a School Resource/College Response Bureau with the Undersheriff as its Bureau Commander.
