Illegal to burn property willfully and maliciously or to aid someone else in burning property. Even the slightest singeing is sufficient for arson.

Includes several offenses related to Arson: Murder (PEN §187), Burglary (PEN §459), Trespass (PEN §602(m)), Vandalism (PEN §§594(a)(1)-(3)), Looting (PEN §463(a)) and Reckless Burning (PEN §452).
