Impersonating a peace officer, law enforcement officer, or firefighter as a form of identity or job for the purpose of asserting false authority, also to commit or facilitate a crime(s); The person willfully wore, exhibited or used the authorized insignia, emblem, device, label, certificate, card or writing of a peace officer or willfully wore, exhibited or used the authorized badge of a peace officer. This applies to former or ex-law enforcement not currently sworn inside the State of California under California POST, or not using return or discarded credentials, wearing of the uniform, patches, or gear or driving a law enforcement vehicle to appear to be working as a peace officer.
