It is a crime to pass contraband to an inmate or bring contraband into a jail or state prison as an inmate. Contraband includes alcohol and any drugs other than controlled substances. The Sheriffs for the Hartwell County Jail may declare anything contraband for those serving time inside the jail and confiscate this property or discard it.
