The Department of Laboratory Sciences is the college's bench-science home: biology, chemistry, forensic science, and the laboratory technology behind hospital and crime labs. Technique, safety, and trustworthy records are treated as first-class skills.

Its graduates head for medicine, research, forensics, and the county's clinical laboratories — including placements at Hartwell General Hospital and forensic support for the Hartwell County Sheriff's Department.
