Department of Sociology
The Department of Sociology studies society at every scale — groups, communities, cultures, and the systems that hold them together or pull them apart. It houses the college's work in sociology, anthropology, and community health.
Fieldwork is the department's habit: students learn to observe carefully, record honestly, and interpret with humility.
