301 - In Character and Out of Character
301.1 THE SEPARATION
All staff must clearly separate what their character knows from what they, the player, know.
301.2 IN CHARACTER (IC)
Information your character has learned through roleplay. Examples:
- Medical history obtained from the patient.
- Test results completed during roleplay.
- Information given by EMS.
301.3 OUT OF CHARACTER (OOC)
Information learned outside roleplay. Examples:
- Discord conversations.
- Profile information.
- Previous OOC discussions.
- Viewer information.
OOC knowledge must never be used unless it has been introduced through roleplay.
