306 - Death, Serious Injury, and Player Consent
306.1 PLAYER CHOICE
Hartwell General Hospital respects player choice. Hospital staff will never permanently kill a character without that player's consent.
306.2 LASTING CONSEQUENCES REQUIRE AGREEMENT
Likewise, the following should only occur with the specific agreement of the player concerned:
- Permanent disability
- Long-term injury
- Memory loss
- Major life-changing conditions
306.3 RECORDING THE AGREEMENT
Where a lasting consequence is agreed, record the agreement on a notecard between the players involved, so that everyone has the same understanding of what was consented to and scenes months later can be played from the same page.
